Put the butter, the milk, the sugar, the orange zest, the cocoa powder and the vanilla stick in a saucepan and let it boil for 20 minutes until it thickens. Grease an oblong cake mold. Break the biscuits into small pieces, soak them up in the peppermint syrup and mix with the walnuts. Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the biscuits mixture. Stir well and pour into the greased mold. When it is cooled, place the mold in the refrigerator for 12 hours. To remove it from the mold, place it in hot water for a minute and turn it upside down immediately. Before serving sprinkle with peppermint syrup and decorate with fresh mint leaves.
